Accountable for the design and implementation of compensation programs, policies, objectives and initiatives in support of the compensation philosophy and MaineHealth strategic goals. Oversees the collection of salary and incentive survey data to ensure the organization’s compensation programs/objectives are competitive. Ensures compensation programs remain within budgetary constraints. Partners in the development of messaging to employees to promote clarity and reinforce the value of compensation programs. Keeps abreast of regulatory, market, and practice changes and trends. Champions timely and robust data collection and analysis processes that support research and market, pay equity and other compensation studies. Provides direct leadership to the Compensation Team. Accountable for the development, costing, implementation, administration and ongoing analysis of compensation pay systems.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required.License/Certifications:

CCP preferred.Experience:

Five (5)+ years of experience developing and implementing compensation programs and policies.Leadership Experience:

Three years of leadership experience required.Knowledge and experience related to federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting compensation, including FLSA and Equal Pay Act, DOL, and Wage & Hour.Ability to understand the unique needs of each organization and to develop a targeted strategy to meet those needs.The successful individual demonstrates the following disciplines: Customer service; Organizational skills; Initiative; Attention to detail; Problem solving skills that drive results and are solution oriented; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
