The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth invites leaders to apply for the position of Executive Director of Visual and Performing Arts at our innovative 4ALL Studios YMCA, a center for the Visual and Performing Arts. This pioneering role will spearhead the development and expansion of a comprehensive music and performing arts program designed to educate and inspire all individuals through the power of production, performance, and creativity. With the first phase of the branch already boasting a state-of-the-art recording studio and music production classroom, the Executive Director will play a crucial role in leading the next phase of expansion, including the addition of a video production suite, podcast studio, performing arts spaces for vocal and dance, writing and spoken word workshops, acting/theatre classes, and music lessons covering instruments such as piano, keyboard, and guitar. The 4ALL Studios is set to become a cornerstone for arts education in the YMCA, serving the entire Metropolitan Fort Worth area with its unique offerings. QUALIFICATIONS Education: The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Music, Performing Arts, Arts Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years involved in or leading arts education, program development, and/or arts administration, with a proven track record of successful leadership and innovation. Preferred knowledge of music production, performing arts, and education trends and technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead capital projects, from planning through to completion. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and partnership-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners. Demonstrated commitment to the YMCA's mission and values, with a passion for using the arts as a tool for community development and empowerment. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Program Development and Expansion:

Oversee the development and expansion of fine arts programs, ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and high-quality offering that aligns with the YMCA's mission and the community's needs. Capital Project Leadership:

Lead the planning and execution of capital projects related to the branch's expansion, including the design and construction of new facilities and studios. Work closely with architects, contractors, and YMCA leadership to bring the vision to fruition. Curriculum Design and Implementation:

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for fine arts education, incorporating the latest in production technology, performance techniques, and artistic expression. Community Engagement and Partnerships:

Foster relationships with local artists, schools, and organizations to enhance program offerings, create collaborative opportunities, and increase community involvement in the arts. Fundraising and Grant Writing:

Lead fundraising efforts and grant writing initiatives to secure funding for program development, scholarships for participants, and capital projects. Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors passionate about the arts. Staff Leadership and Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor a team of instructors, technicians, and administrative staff. Build a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the 4ALL Studios team. Program Evaluation and Reporting:

Establish metrics for success and evaluate program effectiveness. Provide regular reports to YMCA leadership and stakeholders on progress, challenges, and achievements. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates. The yearly salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience.
