The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School has
three (3)
full time positions available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on experience, for Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians, as generalist specialists, in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. Family Planning Specialists are welcomed to apply to the positions. Laborist and nocturnist options can be considered for these roles, depending on the candidate.These three positions will treat diseases and disorders of the female pelvis. Also, treats women during prenatal, in labor, and postnatal periods. Performs all aspects of generalist OB/GYN practice including cesarean delivery, hysterectomy, and all standard outpatient OB/GYN procedures.The practice is based at University Hospital using the renovated labor floor, the Ambulatory Care Center and other sites associated with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. The practice is fully integrated in the teaching mission of the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School with faculty appointments in the medical school. The scope and breadth of the faculty’s clinical activities promote professional interests while covering the clinical needs of the service and the educational mission. Professional interests in global health, clinical research, patient safety/quality and addiction medicine are encouraged. Leadership opportunities are available commensurate with experience and interest.Position Status

Qualified applicants should have New Jersey Medical License and Board Eligible or Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required. Consideration to interview will also be given to applicants who are completing residency training and have not yet obtained all required licensure or board eligibility.
