We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Marketing and Chief Brand Experience Officer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all marketing activities, positioning our organization as a charity of choice and a welcoming community hub. Reporting directly to the CEO/President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the YMCA's brand identity and fostering engagement among diverse stakeholders.*Anticipated start date October 2024THE IDEAL CANDIDATEQualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive/relevant experience in marketing, communications, and advertisingExperience in non-profit administration and understanding of YMCA's mission and valuesDemonstrated leadership skills with a track record of developing successful marketing strategiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholdersProficiency in social media management and other digital marketing toolsKey Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate the YMCA brand and support organizational prioritiesProvide strategic counsel to senior leadership on brand management and perception issuesCollaborate with Membership Team to enhance member engagement and retention through targeted CRM communicationsDrive revenue growth by optimizing marketing strategies to attract new customers and donorsEvaluate and integrate marketing technology solutions to enhance effectivenessSuccess MetricsBuild close relationships with agency partnersDevelop cohesive and effective marketing structure for the AssociationOperations:Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform business strategiesOversee all aspects of marketing communications, including branding, public relations, advertising, and social mediaDevelop and execute internal communications initiatives to foster a strong organizational cultureManage relationships with media outlets to amplify the Y's impact and visibilityCollaborate with Chief Development Officer on annual report and financial development collateralSuccess MetricsCoordinated messaging across all platforms of communicationEnhanced presence with social media engagementBuild close relationships with local media representativesLeadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing team members, setting clear objectives and prioritiesEnsure adherence to brand standards across all touchpoints, including digital platforms and physical facilitiesCultivate relationships with agency partners to support marketing objectivesAct as a representative of the Association as neededSuccess MetricsBuild close relationships with agency partnersDevelop cohesive and effective marketing structure for the AssociationIf you are passionate about driving positive change and have the skills to lead impactful marketing initiatives, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
