Corporate Attorney
to join our corporate legal staff. This position will review and negotiate client contracts, assist in responding to Requests for Proposal, and provide general legal counsel to associated business stakeholders.We are looking for someone who thrives on working within a team and across departments, ideally with an affinity for our mission-driven organization’s focus on serving our public sector clients. 10-25%Responsibilities
Prepare and negotiate client contracts for licensing and purchasing of software, products, and services.Review client Requests For Proposal and provide exceptions based on standard contracts and business practices.Administer contracts, including management of delinquent and terminating customers.Negotiate vendor contracts and other legal agreements.Review and prepare other ad hoc legal agreements.Advise business stakeholders regarding applicable contractual and legal issues.Qualifications
J.D. and license to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction is required.At least 2 years of law firm experience in corporate or transactional law is
required ;
Additional time with in-house counsel experience in corporate or transactional law is
ideal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strategic and creative approach to problem solving desired.Ability to manage various independent tasks and clients, while contributing to team obligations and demands.Ability to interact well with remote internal stakeholders and clients.Minimal travel is expected (no more than 10% at the most).
