Wolters Kluwer Corporate Performance & ESG – Enablon , you will manage a sales team focused on one of our major vertical industry sectors. You will have primary responsibility for driving profitable sales growth in accounts that meet or exceed sales goals. The Sales team focuses on selling our Enterprise Software solution to enterprise customers. You will be responsible for incorporating strategic planning to optimize revenue generation of sales efforts. Additional activities include: establishing optimal sales territories; managing team performance; understanding and communicating customer needs to inform product improvements and product extensions; ensuring execution of field-driven sales and marketing activities; and overseeing the development, implementation, and use of sales metrics. You will report to the Director, Field Sales – Corporate Performance & ESG, Enablon.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains strong vertical subject matter expertise, coupled with the ability to manage a cross-functional sales team.Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports, peers, supervisors, and/or senior professionals based on organizational goals and company policy.Maintains accountability for the performance and results of multiple related departments or areas.Develops departmental plans and determines objective-oriented assignments.Establishes operating policies and procedural plans, including business and operational priorities, methodologies, and standards.Leads and inspires the team to quota success and increases the understanding of the needs and key performance indicators for the vertical.Owns the number for the team consisting of a blended quota of new logo business and expansion from the existing install base.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience; MBA preferred.10+ years B2B outside/field sales experience selling complex Enterprise software/SaaS solutions and services.5+ years of sales management (supervisory) experience.Proficiency with business planning and budget development.Prior accountability for revenue generation and proven track record for meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Demonstrable record for transforming a business function and developing high-powered sales teams.Proficiency developing and driving effective use of CRM.Preferred Experience:Sales or sales leadership experience in one of our vertical markets (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Mining & Metals, Utility).EHS or ORM software sales expertise.Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:Leadership skills, Subject Matter Expertise, Coaching, Performance Management, Field Sales Techniques, Advanced Business Consulting, Change Management.Proven ability to perform in a collaborative manner and engender trust and cooperation from colleagues and stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment with multiple channels.TRAVEL REQUIREMENT25-50%Compensation:Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $147,200-$208,350.
