General Manager - Houston, Texas, USA

Standard Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to FridayWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations and sales of our organization. They will work closely with the various departments to ensure efficient processes and procedures are in place to meet company objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.Manage and work with the sales team in meeting their goals and objectives.Manage and work with the engineering team in meeting their goals and objectives.Manage and work with the project management team in meeting their goals and objectives.Manage and optimize key operational processes such as supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business goals.Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to support operational objectives.Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Lead and develop a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed.Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to achieve cross-functional goals.Handle any issues or challenges that arise in the course of operations, providing timely resolutions.Manage and be responsible for the P&L.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.5 years of experience in operations, general management, or a similar role.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.Experience with ERP systems and other operational software tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
