We provide customers leading-edge support from prototype to production.FM Industries has locations in Fremont and Livermore, CA with multiple shift opportunities!Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pmSummary of Positions:Promotes a proactive safety culture at all levels of the organization with a focus on employee engagement.Reports all unsatisfactory conditions to appropriate personnel and EHS Management for correction.Develops and improves EHS procedures, policies, and training materials.Leverages expertise as a technical resource to the company in complex areas of EHS compliance, risk management, hazardous waste storage and disposal, industrial hygiene, industrial safety, and ergonomics.Works in tandem with Operations Leadership to determine the existence of possible EH&S hazards to the organization and assists in taking steps to correct them.Prepare written reports of inspection/audit results, incidents/accidents, injuries and illness investigations, employee complaints or concerns as needed.Qualifications:B.S./B.A. degree in EH&S, Engineering, Environmental/Natural Sciences, or in other related technical discipline with 3-6 years related EH&S experience in a manufacturing, or general industry environment.SPCC Preparedness & RegulationsHazardous Waste CFR49 Manifest and ControlWorking knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards and processesSubject Matter Expert knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 (Occupational Safety and Health Standards)Knowledge of Clean Air and Water ActsKnowledge of wastewater and air quality complianceProficient in Word and Excel, and PowerPointCULTURE:At FM Industries, our success is powered by people and technology.
