MRI Technologist

Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL & Elmhurst HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Full-Time, 40 hours weeklyHours: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am. Rotating weekends. On-call once, every other week. 1-2 holidays per year (on-call only)What you will need:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to troubleshoot problems as related to the softwareMust be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologic Certification Board) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red CrossA minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferredAdvanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferredPrevious MRI experience, preferredWhat you will do:Operates MRI equipment to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media, and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of the job, being attentive to eye contact, facial/body expressions, and tone of voice.
