MRI Technologist II - Per Diem

Position Highlights:SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000
Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
Floating Locations: Elmhurst Center for Health, Addison, and Lombard
Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
Hours: As Needed
On-Call: As Needed
Weekends: As Needed
What you will need:High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferred
Previous MRI experience, required
What you will do:Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media, and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of the job, being attentive to eye contact, facial/body expressions, and tone of voice.
