at the University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS), Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, is actively recruiting candidates to apply for the position of Division Chief of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine.As Division Chief of Geriatrics of UB’s Department of Medicine, you will:Recruit and mentor academically outstanding faculty membersGrow multidisciplinary clinical programsOversee education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Geriatrics and Palliative MedicineExpand research activities of the DivisionThe Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is expanding research programs and looks to the next Division Chief of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine:To advance scholarly activity within the divisionTo build an extramurally funded research program in basic, translational, or clinical researchTo expand clinical trials within the Division and with our clinical partnersAs a clinical leader in UBMD Internal Medicine, you will work with the administrative and physician leaders of UB’s affiliated hospitals on operations improvement, program and facilities development, quality/safety, and strategic planning.Outstanding Benefits PackageWorking at UB comes with benefits that exceed salary alone.
