Field Application Specialist & Field Service Engineer
based in the greater Boston Area to support our rapidly growing global applications team with meaningful content and materials for our innovative liquid handling portfolio. Responsible for entire customer success continuum including installation, training, applications development, and service supportUnderstand customer application requirements and translate to high-quality pre-sales support, as well as installation and training sessions to facilitate customer onboardingDevelop applications with customers and ensure customer success in the context of our target markets (e.g. genomics and drug discovery)Document and manage applications and service caseload in salesforce platform including site visit, installation, and application reportsTechnical service, maintenance and repairs of our liquid handling equipmentWork closely with key stakeholders in the company to drive customer satisfaction, communicate challenges, and share customer success storiesResponsible for main specific customer accounts, and are expected to be autonomous; however, you will be part of a growing team of people focused on the US market, while working in close collaboration with the management, scientists, and sales team at the companyQualifications
Bachelors degree in Biology, Engineering or related fieldTechnical expertise working in the laboratory in the biotech fieldKnowledge of drug discovery and genomics workflows is strongly preferredExperience with liquid handling is strongly preferredExperience developing automated methods on liquid handlers, especially liquid class development preferredProficiency in Salesforce preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in English60-80% travel required (Eastern part of the US)What we offer
