Steptoe LLP, a Washington, DC-based Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Firm's International Trade and Regulatory Compliance practice group in its Washington, DC office.Essential Functions

Conduct research and draft political, economic, market and reputational risk analysisContribute analysis to the Steptoe risk publicationConduct media monitoring and compile news and analysis summariesAttend policy discussions at Washington-area think tanks and Congressional hearingsContribute to due diligence investigationsInteract with clients to assess needs and provide supportOther duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the positionNon-Essential Functions

Complete other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Masters degree in International Affairs, Political Science or a relevant fieldMinimum one year experience analyzing policy or security issues pertaining to Europe or Latin AmericaProficiency in one or more foreign languages desiredSuccess Factors

High degree of organization, initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast pace environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to excel in a team environmentWork Environment
