We support all learners to be engaged, curious, and to achieve their full potential.Position OverviewThe Bilingual Program / Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Instructional Coach (CLD-IC) is an exemplary educator who plays a critical role in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse students develop English language proficiency and meet rigorous academic goals. This person balances their schedule between three important roles: as a bilingual teacher, program coordinator, and instructional coach.Primary GoalsCoordinate an exemplary Bilingual/CLD program model;Provide effective instruction to student caseload;Deepen teacher understanding and implementation of curriculum to ensure rigorous and engaging instruction for CLD learners.ResponsibilitiesCultureMaintain a student-centered perspective in decision making.Believe that all students and teachers can learn and achieve great things.Contribute to the equity work of the campus and network.Build and foster a culture of belonging through positive teacher-coach relationships.Honor teacher voice and autonomy.Cultivate a strengths-based, equity-focused mindset.Celebrate teacher growth and development.Advocate for equitable and high-quality instruction for all culturally and linguistically diverse students.Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.Maintain an organized and welcoming environment.Communicate frequently and consistently with students and families in Spanish and English.Implement best practices in alignment with the model and maintain pace with grade level expectations.Use core instructional tools to design and deliver dynamic lessons aligned to grade-level standards.Provide direct Bilingual and ESL services to CLD students.Collaborate and co-teach with classroom teachers on WIDA Standards.Maintain accurate records of students' progress.Analyze and use assessment data to support students in mastering grade level standards.Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth.Welcome peers and visitors for classroom observations.Program Coordination 30%Carry out all required tasks and program coordination for ELPTs.Ensure campus Bilingual program is aligned with guidelines.Update EL program information for CLD students.Participate in campus Problem Solving Meeting and student IEP meetings.Co-create CLD teacher schedules based on needs.Determine CLD placement and services for ELs.Collaborate with CLD teachers to report progress for CLD students.Partner with campus operations team for parent notifications.Plan and conduct the Bilingual Advisory Committee elections.Ensure assessment accommodations for CLD students.Coordinate the organization of the ACCESS test.Support preparation for program audits and visits.Collaborate with special education staff for ELs with IEPs.Implement network, region, and campus initiatives.Instructional Coaching 15%Focus on 1:1 and Team/Group Coaching Cycles.Analyze data to identify strengths and areas of focus.Support teachers in using WIDA Standards.Engage in student-focused coaching cycles.Provide support to grade level colleagues.Curate resources that enhance classroom instruction.Provide supports for new CLD team members.Implement and monitor action steps as determined in the campus growth plan.Leverage video for coaching and self-reflection.Utilize Whetstone for documentation.Schedule time for instructional coaching.Perform other duties as assigned.Instructional Leadership 5%Meet weekly with the Assistant Principal/Principal.Participate in required professional development.Lead with equity-driven practices.Serve as a member of the Instructional Leadership Team.Contribute to the campus growth plan.Participate in instructional coach professional development.Contribute to the design and facilitation of professional development.RequirementsEducation:

Bachelor's DegreeQualifications:Valid Professional Educator License or equivalent.Valid Bilingual Spanish Endorsement or equivalent.5 years of lead classroom teaching experience.Fluent in Spanish with the ability to instruct in both languages.Technology demands:Ability to review and analyze student data.Proficient with Google Suite.Ability to learn digital tools as needed.Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 20% sitting, 50% walking, and 30% standing.Description Disclaimer:
