The role covers all aspects of the material stream value chain through the development and updating of our models, to management of the acquisition through the sales of materials to final end user customers. The role is critical in allowing CFM Materials to plan for the evolution of the trading and MRO markets.Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Forecast used material supply in collaboration with our strategy team and understand the demand tendencies of our customers.Building and maintenance of engine evaluation models.Ensure a consistent supply of serviceable material to satisfy customer demands in support of the business plan and forecast. This includes setting acquisition price for engines, modules, and piece parts with quality approved suppliers.Manage the profitability of each engine through setting acquisition pricing and sales pricing.Evaluating engines for acquisition and managing all tasks relating to the disassembly of the engine and repair of the material.Setting the repair strategy for assigned engines.Strategically Manage Vendor relationships.Work horizontally across the organization to provide commercial and technical support to the sales team, acquisition team, the technical team, and the operations team.Support the management of consignment contracts and programs with external and internal customers.Setting of Sales Price for parts and modules.Define processes and material flow for engine program, in coordination with the GE and Safran programs.Close collaboration with GE Aerospace and Safran CFM56 teams.Competencies

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree, plus 7-10 years of experience in the aviation space, preferably with aircraft enginesAdditional Eligibility Requirements
Knowledge of Used Serviceable Material IndustryDemonstrated knowledge of CFM56 engines and materialExcellent Excel/Access skillsKnowledge of FAA record requirements as they pertain to used engine partsSupervisory ResponsibilityThe role has supervisory responsibility for program management coordinators.Travel
Travel may be required, including internationally, up to 15%.
