to join our
Neurology team
based onsite (hybrid) in
Atlanta, GA . About the role The Marketing Lead, Epilepsy & Rare Syndromes will provide commercial governance and strategic leadership over objectives and activities for the U.S. epilepsy products. This individual will champion marketing strategy and solutions by actively driving innovative US commercial leadership, both at project and organization level, to establish and communicate a clear strategic US vision to build value for patients. Who you'll work with This individual will act as "Expert Partner" to internal and external stakeholders by directly engaging all relevant internal stakeholders (Global and U.S.) related to commercial strategies and external agency partners. What you'll do Marketing Strategy & Solutions (80%) Lead or co-create development of US region commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement strategy, and delivery of solutions across the portfolio of growth products. Develop a successful marketing mix to include digital and omnichannel efforts as appropriate to deliver on the brand plan. Serve as marketing expert and lead the development of new solutions, aligned with brand and broader US priorities such as our Digital Business Transformation (DBT). Ensure appropriate communication of US strategy across internal functional groups (i.e. vertically and horizontally); lead engagement with tech ops & supply chain. Lead engagement for key commercial initiatives, inclusive of supply chain & technical operations. Lead budgeting efforts for relevant brand scope, including quarterly forecasting and reconciliations; Identify & manage any buy-up opportunities across brands as appropriate. Rapidly pilot, test and iterate innovative commercial solutions. Stakeholder Engagement (20%) Acts as an "Expert Partner" to key internal stakeholders, including Epilepsy & Rare Syndromes Leadership Team, driving execution of strategies for US region and reinforcing UCB's leadership in neurology patient value creation. Drive engagement plan with key external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs, clinicians, Payers) for commercial efforts. Drive effective and efficient ways of working with external agency partners; ensure that interactions reflect our Patient Value Strategy and EaRS Culture priorities. Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills Bachelors Degree. In-depth knowledge and experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and related business compliance. Experience developing & executing a brand strategy. Successful record in U.S. and regional/international marketing. Successful record of multi-channel and/or omnichannel marketing (incl. performance management and communication plan development and execution). Demonstration of successful working relationships with external stakeholders/KOLs. Understanding or experience of Med/Reg/Legal review. Payer experience a plus (National Accounts or Managed Care Marketing). Therapeutic area experience in neurology/epilepsy (optional). This positions reasonably anticipated salary range is $142,000 - $186,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and candidate location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
