Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of a

Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist . This position will be located in

Colorado Springs, CO.

The Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist responsibilities will encompass:

Preparing and executing a mixed portfolio of subcontracts

Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures

Understanding the buyer and seller's roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements

Specifying solicitations and bid packages

Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices/terms

Developing and administrating contractual documentation and post awards

Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, or related fields, to include Business and Financial Planning, Contracts Administration, Project Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing; 4 years of experience with a Master's; in lieu of degree, 10 + years of experience may be considered

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences

Proficiency in MS Office suite

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment

Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications

SAP experience

Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

Salary Range:

$80,600 - $121,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
