Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee and optimize our real estate portfolio in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate management, a keen understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to drive asset performance through effective management and strategic planning.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management:

Oversee the performance of assigned real estate assets, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties. Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value, revenue, and returns on investment.Financial Oversight:

Monitor financial performance of properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management. Analyze financial reports, rental income, operating costs, and investment returns to ensure targets are met.Tenant Relations:

Manage tenant relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Address tenant issues and concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive and productive relationships.Property Operations:

Oversee day-to-day operations of properties, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor management. Ensure properties are well-maintained and meet all safety and regulatory requirements.Lease Administration:

Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and amendments. Ensure all lease terms are adhered to and manage lease documentation and records.Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Utilize market data to make informed decisions about acquisitions, dispositions, and asset improvements.Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute strategic plans for asset enhancement and value creation. Identify and recommend capital improvement projects and property upgrades to enhance marketability and performance.Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, including financial metrics, operational updates, and strategic recommendations. Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Oversee property inspections and audits to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. A master's degree or professional designation (e.g., CPM, CCIM) is a plus.Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate asset management, with a proven track record of managing diverse property portfolios and driving asset performance.Skills:

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of real estate markets, property operations, lease administration, and asset valuation. Familiarity with Chicago's real estate market and regulatory environment is preferred.Personal Traits:
