A law firm in Kent, WA, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing personal injury cases, from intake through resolution. This role requires expertise in legal research, drafting documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The Attorney will be expected to handle a high caseload, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to client-focused legal service.Duties:Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution, including investigation and case development.Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure informed legal advice.Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Represent clients in court, including preparing for and attending trials and hearings.Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and explain legal procedures and options.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to strategize and manage caseloads effectively.Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington.Proven experience in personal injury law, with a track record of managing cases from intake to resolution.Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Washington State Bar.Skills:Expertise in personal injury law and case management.Proficient in legal research, drafting, and negotiation.Excellent courtroom skills, including trial preparation and representation.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and oral.Capable of managing a high volume of cases and working under tight deadlines.
