A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Immigration Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in immigration law, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. This role involves representing clients in immigration matters, including removal proceedings, family-based petitions, and humanitarian cases. The attorney will also prepare legal briefs, develop case strategies, and work collaboratively with law enforcement and community organizations.Key Responsibilities:Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.Manage a caseload of immigration cases efficiently.Visit and conduct intakes with detained individuals at detention centers.Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.Review immigration applications/packets, making necessary adjustments as needed.Present to and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and develop necessary case strategies.Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis to clients to identify potential benefits and outcomes.Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.Requirements:5-8 years of experience in Immigration Law.A strong team player open to collaborating, strategizing, and working with fellow associates.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle complex client interactions.Proven track record of advancing legal cases and managing a caseload effectively.Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship applications, and other USCIS matters.Familiarity with Case Management Software is preferred.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Competitive compensation package including a 401(k) plan.Perks include catered lunches, complimentary parking, paid time off, and more.Company infoDescriptionThe Associate VP, Enterprise Architecture translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps.
