Job Overview:

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a dedicated EOIR Immigration Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in immigration law, with experience representing clients in removal proceedings and preparing a wide range of immigration applications. The role requires managing a varied caseload, interacting with clients and legal entities, and providing strategic legal solutions.Duties and Responsibilities:Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.Manage a diverse workload of immigration cases efficiently.Conduct intakes and visits with detained individuals at detention centers.Prepare and file various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.Review and adjust immigration application packets as necessary.Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to determine the best immigration strategies.Develop legal strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis to determine potential benefits and outcomes for clients' cases.Draft and submit legal briefs for a range of immigration cases.Requirements:1-5 years of experience in immigration law.Proven ability to move legal cases forward and manage a caseload effectively.Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar in California.Skills:Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism.Ability to work collaboratively and strategize with fellow associates.Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong organizational and case management abilities.Job Location:Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceCatered lunches401k planPaid parkingPaid time offAnd moreCompany infoJob InformationHumanaAssociate VP, Technology Solutions, PharmacyinTorranceCaliforniaDescriptionThe Associate Vice President of Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeh...Intellectual Property Transactions AssociateLos AngelesWe have an immediate opening for an Intellectual Property Transactional Associate with three to five years of experience.
