As the overall lead, the incumbent will provide leadership for 2 teams - Human Resources (HR) and Workplace Management (WM). He/ She will undertake the responsibility of all areas of human resources and workplace environment management. This includes, but is not limited to, setting the strategic HR priorities in support of the overall company plans, tactical implementation across the full spectrum of HR functions and workplace needs, managing the annual workplans of HR and WM teams, oversight of budget planning and related policies.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources

Partner CEO to review, formulate appropriate strategy and initiatives to ensure that the business has the right talent and organisational design to deliver the business strategy for long-term and sustainable growth.

Establish trusted relationships with CAI senior management leaders by understanding the business and aligning HR programmes to achieve business objectives.

Responsible for the full spectrum of human resource functions including formulation of HR policies, manpower planning, recruitment & selection, employee compensation and benefits management, employee engagement, performance management, payroll administration, training & development.

Responsible for the HR workplan, budget and utilization update and regular reporting to CAI senior management.

Collaborate with the CAI management team and business leaders to identify talent and ensure a strong pipeline of talent to support business growth, including setting up localized hiring policy at overseas ventures.

Develop and foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture, promoting open communication and inclusive work environment for all employees and associate consultants.

Provide counsel and strategic HR advice to Management team, business leaders and line managers.

Manage the Staff Committee (Board sub-committee) on HR matters including Staff Compensation and Benefits.

Workplace Management

Responsible for managing the office support administration required for business operations (such as Office business continuity plan (BCP), workplace safety and health, overseas travel, corporate gifts acquisition, office supplies).

Oversight of vendor management associated with the contracts governing office support administration.

Drive initiatives to enhance workplace environment (physical workplace) as well as digitalization efforts to push towards automation and office improvements.

Lead and plan company-wide corporate activities including Townhall sessions and staff engagement activities.

Responsible for the WM workplan, budget and utilization update.

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources Management.

At least 10 years of experience in the Human Resources function.

Well versed in local laws and regulations, including but not limited to, employment act, CPF and IRAS requirements.

Effective communicator with strong ability in written and spoken English and in presentations.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with all levels of staff and stakeholders including Company Board of Directors.

Independent and resourceful leader who possesses an entrepreneurial mindset to ideate and implement non-traditional, innovative, nimble HR strategies that commensurate with CAI’s business agility; and able to leverage on, align with and adapt from parent company’s best practices.

Strong and reliable team player with demonstrated ability in building a High-Performance culture.

Motivate and groom an HR team that assists CEO to build a High-Performing culture.

Possess positive and high energy to drive people related transformations in a complex business environment that spans across different geographies, business spectrum and with frequency and intensity in changes.
