Job Purpose:

BTIG is seeking a Head of Human Resources, APAC to lead the people and culture strategy and manage HR operations for the region. This individual must be able to operate independently, provide sound advice to the senior leadership team, and manage employee relations across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan.Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall direction and goals for HR for the regionBe a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team on people and culture matters, including talent, performance management, employee relations, and cultureLead cultural transformation initiatives focused on creating a ‘one-firm’ mindset, and a collaborative and high-performing cultureDesign and execute initiatives relating to workplace experience, diversity and inclusion, and professional developmentFocus on building local employment brand, to attract the best talent, including a focus on the early careers pipeline. Partner with the business to select and onboard the best talentPartner with the finance team to oversee regional payrollPartner with the global HR team to deliver the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, promotions, and remuneration reviewRequirements & Qualifications:

Requirements:Solid track record as an HR generalist, preferably in financial services or professional servicesAbility to act as a trusted advisor across levels in the organization, and the ability to influence senior stakeholdersAbility to work independently, identify opportunities and evolve the people and culture strategy accordinglyAbility to execute the strategy by leveraging others around you and influencing othersUnderstanding of the nuances across our markets in APACExperience:Experience designing a people strategy that balances commerciality, pragmatism, and best practiceHigh levels of energy and resilience, enabling you to partner with the leadership team to continually raise the bar and enable changeOpen to senior HRBPs who are looking for a step up into a key leadership role
