The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability, with motor vehicle experience considered a plus. This role demands a strong work ethic, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage caseloads effectively.Duties:Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and during depositions.Draft and respond to discovery requests.Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.Prepare for and attend trials.Occasional travel may be required.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in General Liability; experience with motor vehicle cases is a plus.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Admission to practice in New York and other states is a plus.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Solid research abilities and proficiency in written and oral communication.Strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage and work effectively within a team environment.Excellent client interaction skills and professional telephone manners.Education:J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.Certifications:Admitted to practice in New York (other states a plus).Skills:Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.Solid research skills and excellent written and oral communication.Strong work ethic and self-management capabilities.Ability to work effectively in a team setting.Excellent client skills and professional telephone manners.
