A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Private Wealth Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of meaningful experience in wealth transfer planning. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional academic credentials and a strong background in private wealth management. This role involves providing comprehensive legal services related to estate planning, wealth transfer, and private client matters.Duties:Develop and implement strategies for wealth transfer and estate planning to meet clients' personal and financial goals.Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.Provide legal advice on complex estate and tax planning issues, including charitable giving and asset protection.Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to create and manage comprehensive estate plans.Conduct legal research and analysis to support planning strategies and recommendations.Manage estate administration processes, including probate and trust administration.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding estate and trust matters.Assist with client meetings, providing clear explanations and guidance on legal options and strategies.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in wealth transfer planning and estate planning.Exceptional academic credentials.Strong background in private wealth management and related legal areas.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in Georgia or the ability to obtain admission.Skills:Expertise in drafting and reviewing estate planning and wealth transfer documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle complex legal issues.Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
