Estate Planning Attorney

A law firm in Venice, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their team. This position involves creating and implementing strategies for wealth preservation, business succession, and family-office planning. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in sophisticated tax planning and estate document drafting and a strong background in probate and trust administration.Duties:Develop and execute comprehensive estate planning strategies, including wealth preservation and business succession planning.Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, revocable, irrevocable, and intentionally defective grantor trusts.Provide expert advice on income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters.Assist clients with trust and estate administration and probate processes.Conduct thorough legal research and maintain superior writing capabilities to support case work and documentation.Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure effective estate planning solutions.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in sophisticated income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.Demonstrated experience drafting estate planning documents, including wills and various types of trusts.Experience in probate and trust and estate administration is preferred.Previous law firm practice experience is required.Superior writing capabilities and thorough legal research skills.Strong academic credentials with a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.Education:J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.Degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax is strongly preferred.Certifications:Active membership in the Florida Bar.Skills:Extensive knowledge of estate planning, tax law, and probate processes.Proven ability to draft and review complex estate planning documents.Superior legal research and writing abilities.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent client management and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Job Location:Venice, FL
