What you will contribute:

As part of the Finance team at MoneyGram, you will be able to support and maintain the Oracle Fusion ERP applications and other financial systems. This person will work closely with accounting, finance, and treasury to understand business processes and challenges, and work to implement improvements as well as perform general maintenance and configuration.

What you'll do:

Assist the business stakeholders with their needs to be able to use and support our financial and accounting applications, including system configurations and user access.Elicit business requirements and create related documentation. Work with IT to translate to technical requirements.Create thorough and applicable test plans.Execute various testing cycles (Functional, UAT/BAT...) for changes and upgrades.Configure systems efficiently and accurately according to business requirements and best practices. Maintain data and setup and ensure accuracy.Identify opportunities for increasing business efficiency through improved manual and automated process systems. Create and implement system efficiencies to reduce processing time and cost (manages small projects).Troubleshoot systems by identifying causes of incidents and resolving them.Follow through on issues while liaising with IT to ensure that a complete, thorough, timely resolution is implemented.Assist with month end close processes.Ensure that process and control documentation is maintained for the ERP and interfacing systems. Recommend, communicate, and implement process improvements as needed. Load and maintain daily reconciliation files to ensure that they are loaded and balanced appropriately on a timely basis.Performs other duties as needed.What we're looking for:

•Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail, accuracy and poise under pressure.

•Capacity to effectively prioritize and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

•Creative problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to think strategically and use data and knowledge of systems to arrive at meaningful and accurate conclusions.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Proficiency to create accurate, thorough, clear documentation and presentations for business and process decisions. - Requires quantitative and qualitative analysis and reasoning abilities.

•Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote environment.

•Takes pride in being detail-oriented and delivery of accurate, high-quality work.

•Basic project management skills.

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting or similar analytical related fields or equivalent relevant experience.

•3 -5 years of experience as a systems analyst, business process, financial systems related role.

Salary:

Anticipated Base Pay: $73K-85K + participation in our annual bonus plan.
