Whatnot has been one of the fastest growing marketplaces and we’re hiring forward-thinking problem solvers across all functional areas.ð» RoleAs Senior Manager Strategic FP&A Marketing, you will be a key player in the usage and reporting of financial and operational KPIs to inform leadership in areas of budgeting, reporting, forecasting and alignment between finance and marketing leaders. Ownership of reporting to Whatnot leadership, including financial narrative development, in-depth understanding of drivers, and establishing data packagesManage financial processes such as month-end reporting and variance analysis, forecasting, budget planning, and annual budgetingProactively provide insights and propose solutions to areas of risk and opportunity to influence business strategyStreamline the forecast process, increase forecast accuracy, align across various teams and stakeholders and enable meaningful forecast reviews with leadershipResponsible for the development of data packages, both external and internal requests and cadenced reporting (subject matter expert)Develop and maintain KPIs, including associated research, comparable company analysis, consolidation, data visualization and packagingTeam members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, New York, or Los Angeles hubs.ð YouCurious about who thrives at Whatnot? As our first Senior Manager Strategic FP&A Marketing you should have 7+ years of finance experience, plus:Experience working within Marketing Finance and driving FP&A processes, preferably within a high-growth marketplace, e-commerce, creator platform, or startup environment  Prior experience partnering closely with marketing organizations and experience owning a robust budgetA strong understanding of marketing math, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of transforming marketing data into insightsCollaborative and capable of influencing business partners to course correct, based on sound analysis and business judgmentYou are comfortable operating on a small team and will get in the weeds to produce results in a fast-paced environmentðCompensationFor Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $190,000/year to $245,000/year + benefits + equityThe salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise.
