The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store.As a General Merchandise Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities:Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals.Help lead the understanding of operational procedures and their impact on profitability and inventory accuracy.Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests.Assist in the execution of processes in inbound, outbound, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.Help create a scheduling plan based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.Assess Fulfillment business and make decisions to help teams fulfill guest orders accurately.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Lead and hold the team accountable to work safely and ethically.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe might be a great match if:Working in a fun and energetic environment excites you.Providing exceptional service to our guests is your passion.You enjoy leading teams who are stocking and selling products.You are looking for a dynamic work environment, not a Monday - Friday desk job.The good news is that we have amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a General Merchandise Team Leader.
