Position Summary:

The Company hires and trains individuals with less than one year of experience and enters them into our Driver Training Program. Driver Trainees receive training and coaching and perform driver duties that allow them to gain the necessary experience to qualify for a professional driver position.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Satisfactorily complete the company's Driver Training ProgramSafely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicleUse Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truckManeuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstaclesUnload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environmentsProvide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnelComplete delivery and pick up paperworkPick up returned product as requiredCollect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicleComplete company training and certifications as requiredEffectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workersOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience:

0 to 1 plus years of Class A Driving experienceMust be at least 21 years oldMust possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, Learner's Permit, or equivalent driving experience in the militaryMust be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 poundsPreferred Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
