Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner, Internal Tools to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop products/tools, solutions and processes that will be used by the internal SavvyMoney partner management team to provide incredible service to more than 1300+ partners. You will seek to understand customer needs, our business, how success is defined, and ensure that we are using solutions that improve productivity and allow for scale. You will work with product leaders to help drive the full product life-cycle by working closely with business users and defining requirements and developing a backlog, work with the UX team to design optimal user experiences and finally, work with technical teams to build and deploy. They will need to be able to help inform and execute on a product roadmap and provide visibility to stakeholders. You will leverage your management and leadership capabilities to help prioritize feature requests, solve complex problems, dive deep into the details while keeping focused on the big picture.

The annual base salary for this position is between $130,000.00 and $155,000.00 depending upon experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of products and solutions used by SavvyMoney partner managers and partner support specialists.
- Proactively work with business and development teams to identify opportunities to increase productivity, drive automation, improve customer experience and/or reduce risk.
- Present written recommendations and insights to product leaders and stakeholders that will facilitate prioritization and help influence roadmap.
- Break down long-term roadmaps into executable work streams with appropriate sequencing of releases, interfacing with customers at all levels. Create a detailed product backlog organized into epics and user stories, tagged to suitable releases
- Provide the team with a deep understanding of customers through clear and high-quality user stories and refinement sessions thereof
- Act as the agile scrum Product Owner, delivering continuous value incrementally in alignment with the roadmap, using agile methodology.
- Coordinate with development squads, including Salesforce and other teams, to uncover and mitigate dependencies.
- Assist with change management duties, including operational handover and support of released features and related training.
- Analyze outcomes from previous features, proposing and executing approaches for continuous improvement and making product proposals with due consideration to challenges and tradeoffs.
- Challenge, recommend and redirect teams as well as client expectations building consensus for successful product and program delivery
- Deal with ambiguity to develop solutions that work for stakeholders from various disciplines.
Skills required
- 3+ years of Product Owner experience with end to end product ownership from requirements to delivery of impactful products and/ or features with due consideration to tradeoffs
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users and measure customer delight
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- A willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly, and get things done
- Results-oriented person with a delivery focus and strong organization skills
- Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fintech or financial solutions is a plus
- Experience in CRM/ Salesforce solutions, data hygiene and governance is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar cloud collaboration tools is a plus.
- BS bachelors degree and/or MBA is a plus
Base salary
The annual base salary for this position is between $130,000.00 and $155,000.00 depending upon experience.
