HR Generalist - Open Enrollment

Location:

San Francisco, CA (REMOTE)

Pay:

$35-40 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to support our client with key HR and benefits-related tasks during the upcoming open enrollment period. The role will involve working within Dayforce to assist with the configuration and testing of new benefits packages, managing HR communications, and responding to employee inquiries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with benefits administration, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Dayforce Configuration & Testing:

Work within Dayforce to assist with the configuration and testing of new benefits packages, ensuring accuracy and smooth implementation.

Benefits Broker Meetings:

Assist in meetings with benefits brokers, providing support in the decision-making process and documentation of key updates.

Employee Inquiries:

Manage the HR ticketing system, monitor the HR inbox (e.g., people@xyzco.com), and Teams channels; address employee questions related to benefits and open enrollment in a timely and professional manner.

HR Communications:

Draft, publish, and update HR communications on the company intranet or wiki, focusing on open enrollment, benefits changes, and relevant deadlines.

Data Management & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of benefits configurations, testing results, and employee interactions; assist in generating reports as needed.

Policy Support:

Ensure compliance with HR and benefits policies; assist with the communication and implementation of any new procedures.

Special Projects:

Support the HR team with ad-hoc projects related to benefits, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

4-6 years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits administration and employee communications.

Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, specifically Dayforce, is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with benefits administration and experience working with benefits brokers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting professional HR communications.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
