The successful candidate will work collaboratively across practice areas to provide practical, dynamic legal counsel in a fast-paced environment.Key DutiesAdvise digital health companies on various privacy and security matters.Provide counsel on compliance with HIPAA and other privacy and security regulations.Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to health and life sciences companies.Navigate complex, quickly evolving legal challenges in digital health and life sciences.Assist clients in managing data protection, privacy laws, and cybersecurity risks.Provide regulatory advice on new technology developments in the healthcare sector.Work on privacy and security-related transactional matters.Stay updated on the latest legal trends in digital health, privacy, and cybersecurity laws.Requirements3-6 years of experience advising clients on data, privacy, and cyber-security matters.Significant experience with HIPAA and other privacy laws and regulations.Familiarity with other privacy frameworks, including CCPA, GDPR, and FTC rules, is a plus.Experience working with technology companies is a bonus.Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Education & CertificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active Bar membership in Washington or eligibility to obtain Washington Bar membership.SkillsSuperior academic credentials.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and client service abilities.Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.Interest in staying at the forefront of data privacy and security trends.Keen attention to detail and a commitment to clients’ success.
