We are currently seeking a VP of Finance to join our Orchard Brands Team.
As a Senior Leadership team member of Orchard Brands, the VP of Finance provides strategic insights and is responsible for overseeing the finance function including planning, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis. The role involves cross-functional engagement ensuring the organization's goals are met and new initiatives are properly funded. Candidates should have a mastery of FP&A and the ability to work across a multi-brand reporting structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage financial plans, targets and strategies that focus on achieving the desired financial and business objectives of Orchard Brands.
- Lead day-to-day management of finance, budgeting, financial reporting and capital investment analysis.
- Ensure timely close process in partnership with accounting through management of invoice processing and contract/invoice accruals.
- Lead monthly reporting including P&L statements, working capital, capital expenditures and cash flow.
- Communicate financial results to GM, Orchard SLT and the broader organization with appropriate level of details for each audience.
- Provide insight into business operations and growth opportunities with long range financial modeling incorporating scenario planning based on strategic initiatives.
- Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leaders abreast of financial status.
- Analyze operational issues impacting the business, measure the business performance and determine financial impact of business decisions to proactively identify areas of opportunity.
- Conduct financial and business analyses of potential new projects/initiatives and develop funding models and implementation plans.
- Serve as a thought-partner to key functional areas including inventory planning, merchandising, marketing, operations, customer care and technology.
- Comfortable and flexible in pivoting from high-level strategic to in-the-details tactical, helping articulate vision while appreciating the granular detailed work
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field
- 10+ years of financial experience
- 5+ years of financial leadership experience as a VP of Finance or Senior Director of Finance
- Experience in leading a finance team
- Experience in financial planning and forecasting, capital expenditure management, auditing, budget process, month end close processes, financial reporting, cash flow analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership presence and collaboration skills
- Strong software skills and competencies are required using MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
