You will play a pivotal role in project planning and execution. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all estimates. Your expertise will guide our project teams and help secure new business opportunities while maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Proficiency in Market and Unit Pricing:

Knowledgeable about current market rates and unit pricing.Project Estimation Leadership:

Capable of leading, creating, and completing comprehensive project estimates.Material Research and Alternatives:

Skilled in researching project-specific materials and identifying suitable alternatives as needed.Value Engineering:

Expertise in developing value engineering ideas and associated cost analyses.Preconstruction Scheduling:

Ability to create preliminary schedules for preconstruction activities.Project Staffing and Conditions:

Understanding of project staffing needs and general condition requirements.Subcontractor Relations:

Established and robust relationships with subcontractors.On-Screen Takeoff Competency:

Proficient in performing detailed on-screen takeoffs.Subcontractor Bid Lists:

Experienced in setting up qualified subcontractor bid lists, including contacting and encouraging subcontractors to submit bids.Bid and Scope Analysis:

Skillful in analyzing bids and scope of work.Presentation Document Preparation:

Ability to prepare compelling presentation documents.Professional Cost Presentation:

Competent in presenting cost information to clients in a professional manner.Estimate Review and Correction:

Proficient in reviewing, analyzing, and correcting estimates prepared by others.Qualifications:Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, with a proven track record of successfully managing estimates for a variety of project types.Education:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.Skills:

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present estimates and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.Leadership:
