Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

to join our team.

The

Chief Financial Officer

directs the financial management of the corporation, which encompasses the coordination of the activities associated with budgeting, accounting, reporting, financial planning and cash management. Provide oversight for the Human Resources function. Also ensures accurate recording of patient related information and appropriate for timely collection of patient fees. The CFO is responsible for supervising the following staff: Human Resources Director, Director of Fiscal Services and Billing Director

Specific Responsibilities:

Prepare and oversee all center operational budgets and grant budgets.

Prepare annual Uniform Data Set (UDS).

Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as required by grants.

Prepare monthly financial statements and present at the Board of Directors and management staff meetings.

Oversee the completion of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll activities.

Coordinate and work with external CPA auditors in relation to the annual audit.

Supervise the Human Resources department to provide staffing consistent with budgets and as necessary to carry out the mission.

Develop and supervise purchasing system. Insure procurement policies are followed.

Safeguard company assets with responsible Fixed Asset Management.

Responsible for selection, maintenance and training of stand-alone hardware and software utilized in grant preparation and financial reporting and occasionally specific grant related needs.

Direct and approve all disbursements made through accounts payable and payroll.

Insure all tax liabilities are paid on or before due date.

Request maintenance proposals and review submitted invoices.

Insure proper documentation is kept for sliding fee grant expenditures.

Act as liaison with federal and state departments concerning notice of grant awards, budget revisions and monthly draws on each grant.

Provide financial and statistical information for Board of Directors and management team as requested.

Act as liaison with financial institutions, vendors and government agencies on any matters concerning finance.

Reconciliation of all bank accounts in a timely manner.

Conduct internal audits as necessary.

Develop pertinent financial policies and procedures as required.

Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. or Masters in Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent experience; Minimum of three to five years experience in the following areas; budget, preparation and fiscal management, experience in computer accounting programs, and grants management. Supervising experience required.
