Job Summary:
The RN Regional Manager - Primary Care will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations within primary care facilities in a designated region. This role involves leading a team of nurses, developing and implementing clinical programs, ensuring quality patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff in primary care facilities
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
Monitor and evaluate nursing services to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for nursing services
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
Facilitate staff development and training programs
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management teams
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing management
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 3 years in a leadership role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
BLS and ACLS certifications are required
Willingness to travel within the designated region
