Registered Nurse (RN) - Regional Manager
Location:

Position Overview:
The Clinic Nurse Manager provides daily leadership and mentorship to nursing and clinical staff, ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic and improving patient experiences. This role is responsible for staff recruitment, professional development, and maintaining clinic standards in alignment with healthcare regulations. The Nurse Manager will address clinic flow issues, support quality improvement initiatives, and ensure the clinic is always prepared for audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership/Management:
Provide daily leadership and mentoring to nursing and clinical staff to reduce access barriers and standardize clinic processes.Identify and resolve any staff, clinic flow, or system issues.Regularly mentor staff and seek feedback from nursing, clinical staff, and providers.Hold cross-clinic meetings to improve clinic quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience.Act as a clinic leader to enhance Primary Care services.
Staffing:
Recruit, orient, and mentor nursing and clinical staff.Support professional growth and development of all staff.Ensure staff are informed of new policies, procedures, and equipment.Address employee relations issues in a timely manner with the Regional Director's assistance.Oversee nursing staff in patient assessments, evaluations, and treatments to maintain high-quality care.Ensure annual competency assessments for all staff and manage certification and licensing compliance.Work with Clinic Leads to ensure adequate daily clinic staffing.
Operations and Compliance:
Maintain clinic supplies and recommend new or replacement equipment.Ensure continuous compliance with healthcare accreditation standards (DNV readiness).Maintain annual safety and infection control competencies.Complete special projects as necessary to enhance clinic operations.
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.Unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required. (Alaska license application required before start date for Direct Hire; active Alaska license for agency staff).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of varied clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ambulatory care setting.2 years of supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare preferred.
