Senior Systems Engineer - PowerShell Automation

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions using PowerShell automation and infrastructure as code principles.
Manage and optimize Active Directory and VMware environments using best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT infrastructure with business needs and requirements.
Analyze system requirements for existing systems to ensure they offer adequate security and meet business needs.
Recommend alternative technologies or improvements to enhance information systems to support business.
Perform server and server workloads implementations, integrations, and migrations.
Lead design and review of new systems by developing the proposed technical design for the integration and implementation of any new software.
Create detailed plans of new systems architecture which includes logistical plans for the operational areas to conduct the physical integrations.
Evaluate projects after a new system has been integrated by participating in evaluating the success of the project, identifying best practices, and lessons learned.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure issues and incidents.
Document and update IT infrastructure processes, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or architecture, with a focus on PowerShell automation and infrastructure as code.
Certifications in PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, or related technologies are preferred.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef, or PowerShell Universal (Ironman Software Platform).
Expert knowledge of Active Directory and VMware administration and configuration.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, such as networking, security, cloud, virtualization, storage, and backup.
Web server and application server administration experience.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
