Job Description
You will join our Global Technology Microbiology R&D team, providing leadership and technical support.
You will collaborate with the team to identify, explore, and develop novel solutions to address specific customer needs in the microbial control segments across various industries.
You will develop a comprehensive understanding of biocidal products, including formulation, performance and efficacy testing, and the current regulations governing their use.
You will conduct various bench work on microbial control and biocidal efficacy experiments to develop novel products with tailored properties.
You will apply advanced microbiology or biochemistry concepts and techniques to solve complex microbiological control challenges.
You will be responsible for analyzing experimental data, preparing technical reports, and effectively communicating findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications
You have an M.S. or PhD in a field related to microbiology, microbial control, or biochemistry. This includes, but is not limited to, specializations such as water treatment, food microbiology, wastewater treatment, biofilm treatment, and chemical biology. Your advanced degree should demonstrate a deep understanding of the scientific principles and practical applications in these areas.
You have a good understanding of biocides and their applications, such as their mechanisms of action, and their appropriate use in different contexts to control microbial growth. You can effectively apply this knowledge to develop and implement strategies for microbial control in various environments.
