What You’ll Be Doing

Vendor Relations and Invoice Processing:

Collaborate with the Controller and AP team to foster seamless vendor relations and invoice processing.

Ensure accurate A/P invoice and expense report processing with diligent discrepancy resolution.

Maintain an organized vendor W-9 records repository for regulatory compliance and swift audit response.

Assist with accounting software troubleshooting and problem solving.

Meet departmental expectations and deadlines.

Accounts Receivable:

Input Accounts Receivable deposits and conduct monthly reconciliations to address discrepancies.

Contribute to month-end close by producing accurate and timely reports and coordinating with Accounting teams across KPFF to update records.

Foster communication with Finance Manager to oversee deposit accounts and initiate the resolution of overpayments.

Compliance and Support:

Adhere to GAAP standards in financial activities, stay updated on accounting standard changes and implement adjustments as needed.

Provide ongoing technical support and training to team members, contributing to the continuous improvement of financial systems and procedures.

Update and create accounting system training documentation.

Who We’re Looking For:

Possess 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Associate or bachelor’s degree, providing a solid foundation in financial principles and accounting practices.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in daily accounting operations.

Exhibit a strong numerical aptitude, coupled with keen attention to detail and proficiency in financial data analysis.

Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for effective financial analysis and communication.

Bring self-motivation and collaborative spirit, coupled with a passion for continuous improvement.

Excel both independently and in team settings, demonstrating adaptability and initiative in fast-paced environments.

Uphold a diligent work ethic, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery of results.

Proactively identify and resolve problems, leveraging strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Consistently maintain professionalism, handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Duties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.

Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.

May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.

Work in the downtown Seattle office 5 days/week, with flexible work hours between 7 am and 5 pm.

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate with 1 - 3 years of experience is $60,000 – 75,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
