Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage the internal fabrication Raw Material Stores operations of a semiconductor company with $13B in annual revenue and a plan to get to $20B. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of raw material, equipment spares, and consumables from receipt to distribution. Additionally, ADI has an upcoming project to implement a new S2P solution, migrate to SAP S/4 Hanna as our ERP, and possibly upgrade our warehouse management system. The individual must be creative but process-driven, with domain knowledge of best practices and future trends in warehouse management including AI and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, warehouse operations, and systems. Success will require working cross-functionally with Procurement, Mfg Operations, Equipment Maintenance, Fab General Managers, and Facilities.

Responsibilities:

Manage the Raw Material stores, shipping/receiving, and material handling for 4 fab manufacturing sites and their respective campuses.

Oversee a global team of ~65 individuals consisting of both salaried and hourly employees that support the fabs’ 24X7 operation.

Work with site managers and their teams to maintain efficient and effective operation of Stores’ Stock Room, Receiving, and Shipping.

Standardize and automate material management processes across all four fabs.

SAP material master management and supplier information as it relates to source list and MRP, ensuring timely creation of all new parts per global standard.

Create and publish metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness to drive positive results and support annual & long-term site and company strategic objectives.

Work with Procurement to prioritize and resolve overdue and potential stock outs.

Perform root cause analyses for shortfalls and take corrective action.

Manage raw material inventory, ensuring sufficient supply of spare parts and raw materials, optimizing inventory levels, managing expiration and batch dates, and disposing of obsolete stock.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, in-house EH&S, and regulatory requirements related to handling and storage of hazardous material and waste.

Build a great team that is agile and acts with a sense of urgency, optimizing resources and responsibilities to ensure value-add and continuous improvement.

Foster a safe, healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.

Embrace and promote lean manufacturing (6S, Shingo, etc.).

Requirements and Skills:

BS or BA in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant field.

10 years of experience as a materials manager or in a similar role.

Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.

Understanding of forecasting and budgeting.

Working knowledge of SAP MM.

Demonstrated leadership skills including excellent organization and strong written and verbal communication at VP/GM level.

A problem solver with attention to detail.

Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Proven track record in Change Management and Project Management.

Lean Manufacturing Experience - 6S, Shingo, Six Sigma.

The position may require US and International travel to ensure global alignment.
