The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor with expertise in applied probability, stochastic processes, or related areas. The faculty member in this position will teach mathematics and/or statistics courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. It is expected that the new faculty member will engage in scholarly research or grant activity and serve on department, college, and university committees. They also will have the chance to mentor undergraduate research and graduate student master’s thesis projects.Minimum requirements include:A PhD in mathematics, statistics, or related field (Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.)Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and equity.
