Summary
The Brand HR Manager will play a key role in driving a customer service culture through the effective execution of HR processes within the brand. The HR Manager will be responsible for maintaining the HR function in their assigned brand(s) through recruiting and retention, compliance, compensation/payroll, benefits, training and positive employee relations. The Brand HR Manager will act as a consultant and trusted advisor to brand operations managers and employees and be responsible for aligning procedures and practices which are consistent with Central Network Retail Group's (CNRG) vision and values while also maintaining the brand's identity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the human resources function of stores within assigned brands, including, but not limited to, staffing, training, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Direct recruiting and staffing practices that are consistent with company policy, market and business needs, and employment laws and regulations. Ensure onboarding of all new hires.
Administer HR policies and programs.
Manage employee relations by interacting with employees to answer questions and resolve issues to maximize morale and minimize company liability.
Coach, counsel and assist managers in all aspects of HR management including areas such as resolving conflict, corrective action and performance improvement.
Foster an environment which encourages open and clear communication. Take a hands-on approach to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
Oversee the efficient operation of payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing. Follow-up with operations to resolve any discrepancies.
Provide benefits and HR systems education and support to management and stores.
Maintain the leave of absence process at the brand level and in partnership with HR leadership and legal.
Actively participate in Safety awareness and training programs, reporting of incidents and maintaining the OSHA log.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Collaborate with fellow Human Resource employees within Central Network Retail Group (CNRG) and communicate regularly with the Regional HR Business Partner and Director of Human Resources regarding HR related matters.
Travel Requirements
Frequent travel to store locations. Some travel may be overnight.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent years of experience
2+ years Human Resources experience, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and talent development
Experience administering payroll and benefits functions at a regional level
Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation
Experience using HR technology to manage processes, track metrics and perform basic analysis
Multi-site HR experience preferred
PHR and/or SHRM certification preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to inspire and motivate others
Results driven with ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong decision making ability
