Chief Nursing Officer Opportunity

Texas NeuroRehab Center is a specialized treatment facility located ten minutes from downtown Austin on 67 wooded acres. We have served the Austin community for over 80 years and are proud of our history and tenured leadership team.

Today, Texas NeuroRehab Center provides complex medical and brain injury rehab for ages 13 years and older and neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents, and adults facing difficult challenges.

The

Chief Nursing Officer

is a key member of the Texas NeuroRehab Center Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient-centric nursing strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements. Provide administrative and clinical supervision over Nursing Services including effective utilization of the nursing process to provide quality patient care, establish Standards of Practice, and provide effective fiscal management. Provide administrative and clinical management for the Employee Health and Infection Control Practitioner in coordination with the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

MSN preferred. BSN and a Master’s degree in a health-related field with three years hospital RN experience or BSN with three years hospital RN experience and receive four hours per month clinical consultation from MSN in psych-mental health nursing will be considered.

Minimum of five years experience in psychiatric, mental health, and/or rehabilitation nursing with a minimum of three years progressive supervisory/management experience in psychiatric, mental health, and/or rehabilitation nursing.
