We’re looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to manage the Information Services Unit to ensure the availability and operation of IT systems and hardware across our department.
The CIO will provide leadership and consultation for statewide and departmental IT projects, serve as an expert advisor to executive staff, and direct strategic planning, application development, and user support services. This position plays a critical role in shaping the IT policies that drive the Department’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee long-term IT strategic planning, systems analysis, and support
Lead the development and maintenance of critical applications and telecommunications systems
Serve as the primary contact with the State CIO and ensure collaboration with key stakeholders
Implement policy recommendations for mission-critical systems like the Legislative Information System (LIS) and the Governor’s Budget
