Operating 24 hotels across the United States and Canada, our portfolio includes top franchises such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and independent hotels. We are currently seeking a talented
Regional Director of Sales

The
Regional Director of Sales
is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue goals across multiple properties by developing and executing effective revenue strategies, leading and developing sales teams, and implementing marketing plans and partnerships to enhance exposure and visibility. Assisting Vice President, Sales & Marketing with projects.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop the hotel level sales team (who directly report to the hotel's General Manager) and hold them accountable for their responsibilities.
Ensure department achieves goals for total revenue, occupancy, and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Optimize total hotel revenue inclusive of food and beverage, spa, and other ancillary opportunities.
Establish, maintain, and execute department budgets and marketing plans across multiple hotels.
Collaborate with the Vice President E-commerce to plan and implement successful ecommerce and internet marketing strategies for enhanced visibility.
Promote the brand and hotel story in the market to increase overall profitability.
Adjust sales plans based on business and marketing trends to optimize market mix and business types.
Maintain current knowledge of competitors and industry trends; apply state-of-the-art sales techniques and brand.
Mentor and develop property sales leaders to achieve positive results.
Work with hotel level Sales leaders to ensure teams are pacing and identifying business opportunities to maximize group revenue.
Attend Daily DBR's and weekly Revenue management strategy meetings (as needed).
Train sales discipline with teams to secure new business through proactive selling, brand and within the hotel market.
Work alongside Hotel team, Revenue Management, E-commerce and Digital Performance team achieve set market share results.
Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication and ethical interpersonal interactions.
Ensure prompt follow-up on customer needs and inquiries.
Direct and join forces with hotel teams to work with local Convention and Visitors Bureaus, demand generators and group sales resources to maximize revenues.
Conduct market research to capitalize on hotel strengths and competitor weaknesses.
Foster a positive team attitude and maintain open communication with all departments internally at the hotels and from a corporate perspective for overall hotel performance.
Create networking and cross selling opportunities between hotels.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Hotel Sales Experience is required to be considered for the role.
High school degree required; college degree preferred. Will consider experience equivalent to a 4-year degree.
Ability to travel up 50% of the time.
Ability to travel internationally and possess a passport.
Valid driver's license required.
Position may be based out of Ridgefield, CT office or remote based on the location of the candidate.
4+ years of experience in hotel sales management.
5-7 years of overall sales management experience.
Knowledge of advanced sales techniques, business analysis, yield management, and customer service.
Strong leadership, communication, and development skills.
Effective business writing skills.
Highly proficient in time management and organization.
Proven ability to develop strong internal and customer relationships.
Experience in planning and implementing budgets across multiple hotels in BI platforms.
Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time without sitting or leaning. Long hours are sometimes required. Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms. Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to walk long distances.
