DescriptionYour North Star: Establish and lead a business aligned Information Services team focused on driving value through the effective deployment and management of business applications including Workday and UKG.

Reporting to the Children’s National Executive Director of Enterprise Applications, this inaugural role will provide pivotal leadership as CNH transitions to contemporary Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Payroll systems. The Director will serve as a primary liaison between the Information Services and hospital departments, with responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring information management systems and standards to support clinical, business, research, and academic functions of the organization. This position has direct responsibility for applications that support those functions, as well as general service delivery from IS to all hospital stakeholders.

QualificationsMinimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Required)

Master's Degree preferred (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

10 years of experience in ERP implementation (Required)

3 years of progressive experience in management (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge

Proven track record of successful ERP project delivery, including planning, execution, and optimization.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

In-depth knowledge of ERP systems.

Experience with ERP modules including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources.

Certification in ERP platforms or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Functional AccountabilitiesERP Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive ERP strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to define ERP requirements and prioritize initiatives.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our ERP systems remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Implementation and Integration:

Lead the implementation of ERP systems, overseeing all phases from planning to deployment.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ERP solutions with existing systems and processes.

Manage vendor relationships and third-party consultants to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through ERP enhancements.

Streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies to increase operational efficiency.

Drive user adoption by providing training and support to employees on ERP systems and best practices.

Data Management and Analytics:

Establish data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity within ERP systems.

Utilize ERP analytics and reporting tools to generate actionable insights for decision-making.

Implement data-driven strategies to drive business performance and enhance customer experience.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Ensure ERP systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to data security, system availability, and compliance.

Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to safeguard ERP infrastructure and data assets.

Deliver:

Set and achieve departmental goals.

Align budgets and resources to meet division goals.

Monitor and support a safe and quality environment.

Focus the team on service excellence and make the interdepartmental connections needed to ensure high service.

Clearly communicate organizational strategies to the department.

Support managers in maintaining a positive working environment.

Represent the department in clearing obstacles to high performance.
