Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:All Radiologic Technologists are state and nationally registered professionals. Under the direction of the technical supervisor and medical director, the radiologic technologist III demonstrates proficiency in all skills required to competently perform all level I, level II & level III diagnostic radiologic procedures.Hospital based positions include call responsibility.Performs other duties as assigned.All Radiologic Technologists project an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct and support the Radiology Department mission.They participate in the continuous quality improvement process while maintaining a working knowledge and following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation and quality control requirements, as well as specific regulatory requirements of Title 22, California Licensing & Certification of Health Facilities and Title 17, California Radiation Control Regulations.Performs other duties as assigned that do not violate laws or regulations that require personnel with special licensure.Education and Experience:Associates Degree or higher. Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program is required. Three years of radiology experience is required. If position is hospital based, experience is preferably in an acute care setting.License Required:State of California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License & Fluoroscopy Permit.Certifications Required:AHA BLS Certification.
