We are a part of a successful and well-established restaurant chain. With our recent expansion into new services, we have seen remarkable success, leading to requests from other restaurants in our chain for assistance in implementing similar offerings.To meet the growing demands, we are looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations, expand services, and drive excellence across multiple locations.Job Overview:
As the COO, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and those of partner locations. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, executing strategic plans, and managing key functions such as marketing, staff training, personnel management, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in the restaurant industry, who can drive growth and implement the systems and innovations that have made our restaurant a success across the chain.Key Responsibilities:
Establish objectives for the company and partners’ companies and formulate or approve policies and programs;Oversee and direct the daily operations of the restaurant and those of partner locations, ensuring quality and efficiency in service, kitchen operations, and customer experience;Plan, develop and implement the company’s short and long-term goals, focusing on growth and expansion;Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff position;Lead the implementation of innovative coffee and breakfast services across multiple restaurant locations within the chain;Allocate and distribute material, human, and financial resources to execute organizational policies and initiatives, establish financial and administrative controls, and develop and authorize comprehensive personnel planning of our restaurant and those of partner locations;Supervise and coordinate activities across different departments, including kitchen staff, service staff, and managerial personnel;Create marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and increase revenue;Oversee and execute staff training programs across locations to ensure consistency in service quality and operations;Offer training to staff on inclusivity for mature workers, Veterans, youth, and Indigenous employees. Provide cultural and diversity training to foster a welcoming environment for visible minorities and newcomers. Train employees on environmental sustainability practices;Manage and support the recruitment, development, and performance management of restaurant staff;Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and revenue growth;Maintain relationships with owners of other restaurants and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with services and continued collaboration;Ensure that all operations comply with regulatory standards and company policies while maintaining the highest quality of products and services;Represent our restaurant and act on behalf of our company, in negotiations and other official functions.Qualifications:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in restaurant industry;Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams;Expertise in marketing, management, and operational processes within the restaurant industry;Experience in staff training;Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue and customer satisfaction;Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $62.00 - $64.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 per weekLocation Requirements:
